Sevens, Part 2

Today the Consortium celebrates more sets of seven, starting with the days of the week.

The Muppets sing soulfully.

In the 1960s, the Brits begn celebrating the week that was.

American television followed suit, and the TV soundtracks were documented on record.

The Beatles added a day.

The Seven Deadly Sins on film were mentioned in the previous list of famous sevens on this blog, but they've appeared a number of times. For example, they're featured in "Bedazzled," 1967 style

and 2000 style

We at the Consortium are mostly too young to remember when "The Seven Little Foys" was in movie theaters, but we saw it chopped-up on television between commercials for chewing gum and detergent.

The Little Foys, by the way, were the children of show business legend Eddie Foy.

As an added bonus -- you deserve it -- note the street cleaner's uniform at the beginning of this last video. Looks familiar, doesn't it?
