Donna Fay's front door

The Consortium's former Thursday Contributor, Angie, has moved to Freelance status, which works better with her job schedule. Donna Fay Reeves has agreed to step in and take on blog post authorship on Thursdays. While Donna Fay is getting her technology set up to share her activities here, we're starting off with four weeks of projects Donna Fay's done during the lockdown. As the blog administrator, I thought bringing in my friend of many years so we could see what she does with her days would give people a lift. Today's post features the responses of folks on social media to Donn'a photo of her newly-painted front door.

People wanted to know how what color it was.

Many, many people loved the photo of that door.

Pictured below is the Facebook post just before the door photo went up. Little did Donna Fay know she was about to take the world by storm. :)

Next time: The Screened-In Porch Project.

  1. Wonderfully rich color! Almost without fail I'd advise against people painting wood unless it's a very poor grade of wood, but my first reaction to this would be that it's a laqcuer. Beautiful effect.
It's teasing me with a deep, deep memory of something made of wood that so far refuses to come into view. I don't know if it's from childhood, but it's lurking in there somewhere.
